Since
Ecospice- all things spices
For generations, our family has been deeply rooted in the natural farming of spices in our picturesque home village nestled amidst the misty mountains of the Western Ghats in Idukki, India.
In 1990, Joseph Sebastian, the founder of Ecospice, ventured into vanilla farming, processing, and marketing, establishing themselves as pioneers in the field. Alongside, we have been steadfast in our commitment to supporting local farmers in cultivating high-quality products
Our plantation proudly yields an array of sought-after spices including cardamom, vanilla, nutmeg, and mace, all meticulously sourced and cultivated on our land. Expanding our reach beyond borders, we have extended our operations to Uganda, where we work closely with farmer groups, imparting essential knowledge on correct processing methods for vanilla. Furthermore, we offer guidance on managing the prevalent fusarium disease, a common challenge faced by farmers in Uganda.
Driven by a passion for excellence and a dedication to sustainability, we continue to innovate and collaborate, ensuring the success and prosperity of spice farming communities both at home and abroad.
